Hi Lynn,
I am writing a genealogy study of the "old-timers" in Southeastern Alaska, namely, Prince of Wales (where I grew up).
John Starkloff is one of these, but have little information of his family.
I remember him well, he was a fisherman out of Craig, in fact, he fished with my brother-in-law, Byron Skinna. He married in the early 1960s to a Tyonek lady, however the marriage did not last. His sister, Joyce was also a fisherwoman and I believe they were born/raised on Marble Island, possibly Tokeen.
