James L. Statler & Phebe, OH, WI, MN

James L. Stateler/Statler born ca, 1829 Marion Co., OH, married Phebe Curtis in WI., They were parents of three daughters, Eliza b.ca. 1857, m. MR Pennock; Lillie May b. 1 Aug 1865, m. Ole H. Hiam; and Mary. One daughter married William Greenville, which one Eliza or Mary ? Phebe had married before James in NY state and had children. Some people have her married two times before James, but that was another family. Phebe left her children from her first marriage with her parents in Ny and probably went with her brothers to WI. where she met James Statler, they later removed to MN. I was told James is buried Clear Lake Cemetery and was promised more information, but have received nothing from them after I sent my information on family of James L. Statler to them.
There is a story in the family that the Statler's were heirs of a Glass Factory in Germany after 1913. One of the brothers of James hired a lawyer in 1924, but nothing more is known. There may be a article in a newspaper about the Statler Heirs ? ASny help appreciated.
