HICKMAN Vivian L. "Bib" Hickman age 76 of Ashville, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at O.S.U. Medical Center, Columbus. She was born on August 20, 1935 in Fairfield County to the late Kenneth "Pete" and Eileen (Dilley) Stebelton. Vivian was a graduate of Lancaster H.S. Class of 1953 and was a high school cheerleader. After high school she started working for Columbus Mutual, on June 4, 1954 she married Paul Dean Hickman. Together they work for many years in the grocery business in Lancaster and Ashville IGA. She was a member of Ashville Pythian Sisters. After retirement her number one priority was her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son Tim. Survived by husband, Paul Dean Hickman; daughter, Teresa (Rich) Foehl of Gahanna; daughter-in-law, Kelley Hickman of Orient; grandchildren, Daniel (Tammy) Hickman, Jenna and Ashlyn Hickman, Sarah and Greg Foehl; sisters, Carolyn (Bucky) Childers of Hide-a-way Hills, Charlotte (Max) Deaton of Lancaster; sisters-in-law, Vicki Stebelton of Huston, TX, Nancy Hickman and Bobbi Ford both of Ashville; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of special friends. Vivian's request was for cremation to take place. The family will receive friends on Tues. from 5-8 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 with Rev. David Dilger officiating. The family request in lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Ashville Pythians C/O Melanie Willeford 26260 Kime-Holderman Rd., Circleville 43113 or Marcy Lutheran Church, 9980 Marcy Rd., Canal Winchester, 43110.
