Thanks for responding. I think we have to stop after this, though, because it is negative and I think that everyone would like to get back to being positive & helpful. I was hasty the other day in responding to a post which I though was referring to me, when, in fact, it was not. I was not in the best frame of mind when I responded to it. I later thought about the use of the word "hostility" and realized that it was an inappropriate word, and "disagreement" was more appropriate. I am sorry that I posted that day at all.

In defense of those whose line is from Kent, even though they advised me that my family was not from Kent, they offered and gave help. I have also received responses and help from others, just like me, who are still searching. I appreciate both. Every piece helps to solve the puzzle.

I want to compile as much family history for my children and future generations. Besides, I want to know -- It's facinating & fun!
