Thomas Steed, b.1755-1760, England

I'm new to this biz, so be gentle...
Picking up with what's been given me by other family members, it looks like I've got a dead end at Thomas Steed, b.1755-1760. It seems I have everything I need to know, for now, except an exact birthdate and who his parents were...
Does anyone out there know anything, or have suggestions regarding where I should go or what I should do? I'm trying to trace a straight patriarchal line (this Thomas was my 5x-great-grandfather), and any help is much appreciated!!
