I am trying to identify the parents of Thomas Steed. Thomas is shown in the 1799 Personal Property Tax list for Shenandoah County Virginia. It lists one white male over 16 and owning two horses. Due to the location being Shenandoah Co. Va. I think he might be associated with Jesse R. Steed family. I thought I had found all of Jesse's children. Did I miss one?
