These Steffeys are my relatives..My information is that Johann Adam Steffan came to America on the ship Bennett Philadelphia and settled near Lancaster, PA (I have records of their settlement near Sunbury, PA, too). His son Frederick and Frederick's brother Adam (I have access to pages of the family bible naming Frederick's family with birthdates...but it is in old German) moved their families to Tuscarawas Co Ohio. Frederick's son was Solomin (Solomon) (my GG grandfather) My G grandfather was William and his son Solomon (my grandfather) and his brothers all changed the spellings of their names. I could share more info if you fit in. Does this seem to fit in with your family?
