Peggy,
I'm doing my husbands family research of the Steffys in Pennsylvania. We have a 3rd great grandfather listed as Richard Steffe born about 1827 married to a Maria Goshard. They are buried in the Emanuel Brickerville Church in Lancaster Co. near the Lebanon Co. line. Do you have anything on him? We don't know any of his siblings or his parents. The immigrant father that first came over is not sure to us either. In this area of Lancaster Co. or Lebanon Co. we have either Urlrich Steffan (Steffe, Steffey, Steffy) who came and settled in Lebanon or there is an immigrant named Philip Steffan who settled in Adamstown Lancaster Co. Since we aren"t back that far we don't know which one we are from. If I knew which ones of Ulrich's sons stayed here in Pa. and didn't go to Ohio or Virginia or some other state that would also help. Anyway, our line is Richard 1827, Uriah 1858, Robert 1878, Earl 1906, Robert 1934, and my husband Robert 1956. If I can be of any help, please let me know.

Cindy Steffy
