Thank you Peggy for the information on Ulrich. I have seen lots of info. on him, but even though he lived in Lebanon Co, and Lancaster Co. Pa. and our family is from here, I am beginning to think we stem from the Philip Stephan, Steffan, Steffy, line. I can't seem to find any of Ulrich's male children that stayed in this area. Philip, however, I believe, came over in 1738 and was instrumental in settleing Adamstown,Pa. His son Benjamin was very active in the local government there for many years. It seems that all of Ulrich's decendants moved out of the state. Ulrichs fathers name was Hans Stephan.

Thanks again
Cindy Steffy
