I ran across a Richard W. Stiffy and a Clara Z. Stiffey in my reading of the History of Beaver Co., PA, v 2 1904 ( see the index of v. 2). The History also lists Clara as a contralto, and an R. G. Stiffey as a tenor in a chorus that sang in the Centenial Celebration-- I believe during June 22, 1900. My interest in the Steffey name comes from family oral history which has my great- Gandfather Jason Clark visiting a sister (partial invalid?) whose married name was Steffey of Stiffey in the town of Beaver. Hope this helps in some way. Do you have info on a Clark relationship?
