Peter and Catherine in Mifflin Co., PA

Peter Stephey who has been listed as Steffy and Steffey was in Oliver Twp., Mifflin Co., PA as early as 1840. He and his wife are buried in the Spring Run Brethren Church Cemetery near McVeytown, Mifflin Co., PA.
I have found good reason to look in Juniata Co. where the more unusual spelling of Stephey is found and in Franklin Co. where I found this reference:
"Mary, who married Phillip Stiffey, sometimes spelled Stephey;" in the Besore lineage from A History of the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania, By Dr. George Donehoo.
This Mary, who is not Catherine, also had a sister named Catharina listed in the artcle as: "Catharina, who married Christophel Adams,".
Wheter the author mixed up the daughters of Daniel Besore or they are a different clan I don't know but the spelling and given names are too close to ignore.
This Daniel Besore also migrated from Lancaster Co., where many have found references to the Steffey lineage.
If you would be interested contact me off the board at WSEIBERT2@woh.rr.com and I'll send you my research notes.
