Rachael Elizabeth Barr was b 28 Nov 1792 In New Jersey, dau of Rachael Ross and James Barr. She married Solomon Steidley in Frederick Co, VA or Berkeley Co, VA about 1811.
The family moved from VA to MacOupin Co, IL about 1839 and was there on the 1850 census. Solomon must have died before 1850, but James B., Fredrich Andrew J. Joseph and other Steidley and Barr lived nearby.
I am looking for more information about the families before 1838.
