I have just recently done considerable research on the Stein family in the York/Lancaster area. In my research I found a news item written by Leonhard Stein about Johann Leonhardt Stein (1712-1785)in Lancaster County and how he founded the town of New Holland.The article doesn't show the name of the paper or book but there is a date of May 12, 1949 written on it.I'm presuming its from a local newspaper. But the article mentions him marrying Anna Maria Lang and list many of the heirs.
