Thanks for the link to your site, I will be happy to write a letter and will ask my Grandfather to do the same.

There may be an obit or an article in the McKeesport News, I have not had an opportunity to search the archives yet as I live in another State. Hopefully the Heritage Center can provide the answers I'm looking for. Another genealogist believed the lack of obituary in the Pittsburgh papers could have been due to advertising contracts since he owned a clothing store and died during the Great Depression.

As for the death certificates, the only one I have for PA does not ask for the parents names. Was that common?
