Photos STEINBACH, CRAWFORD, GRACKOWSKY
Hello,
was shopping on ebay and saw some photos for sale- will put the included text containing names here-
This is a lot of 5 antique tintypes and 3 photographs. All images are of people. From the dress, especially of the women, these must all date from the turn of the century. The sizes of the tintype are: 2¼" x 3½" (3) and 1½" x 2¼" (2). The sizes of the photographs are: 3½" x 2¼" (2) and 2-7/8" x 2-7/8" (1). The photos are marked on the back - "1904 Mrs. Grackowsky & Gertrude", "Mr. Grackowsky & Gertrude 1904", and "Miss Ella Crawford and Miss Lina Steinbach". The condition of the pieces varies but all are faded or worn by age. However the pictures themselves are extremely interesting - own a piece of America's past. -
I thought Grackowsky was such an odd name (one of those probably never spelled the same twice )that I should yell at someone who may be related...
