I am looking for info on Bess(ie) Steinmetz who grew up in my grandfather's house in Alexandria Twp., Athens Co., OH. She was born 1886 (0r 1887) and died Monday, Jan. 3, 1944 in Charleston, WV. She married Preston Alvidor "Alva" Snowden, had issue, and lived in Reed, WV. Buried in Hebbardsville. Her obit states that she was my grandfather's cousin, but we have no idea how. His parents were David Cowan "D.C" Pierce and Anna Carsey Pierce. Bess had a brother, Jay.
