Cheryl,

Joseph and Sophia (nee Meyer)Steinmetz had only two sons: Frank (Franklin) and Jacob. Joseph died in the Buffalo, NY area in 1845. Sophia remarried to Philip Long circa 1860.

Do these names sound familar or do the timelines work?
