I have record of a Martin (b.Nov.7, 1827); could this be the same one? He was married to Mary Rubeck. The only offspring that I have record of is Joseph Sebastian (b.1864). His father was Martin also. I am decended from the older Martin's daughter, Marie Anne who was born in 1815 in Schirrhien or Schirrhoffen, Bas-Rhien, Alsace, France. She married Andrew Ley in 1841 in Seneca Co. OH. They had 9 children and moved to Noble Co., IN. The basic research on this was done by Vincent Falter Who is also related. I hope this is of some help.
