I also descend from Phillip Steinmetz, also through his son George Jacob. I have been trying to find information regarding Ruth's parentage but no such luck as of yet. If anyone else finds out, please also let me know.
I descend through George's daughter Elizabeth, whom I have a photograph of. In the photograph is is actually 5 generations, Elizabeth, her daughter Clementine, granddaughter Delilah, great grandson John, and Great-great granddaughter Mercedes :) I am happy to share the photo with anyone who wants it just shoot me an email. My great aunt actually has the original!
