I don't have anything on the Johnson who married a King. My Johnsons settled first in Cecil County MD when they came from England, from there into Newberry Co. SC, from there to Fulton Co. GA, with some of them ending up finally in Talladega Co. AL.
My gr-gr grandmother Wadsworth was Georgia Dahlonega Johnson who married Hezekiah B. Wadsworth 1854 in Fulton Co. I haven't done any research on the Kings--the only King I have in any of my notes is Sarah Minerva "Sally" King who married my gr-gr grandfather's brother Worthey Oliver Bailey.
W. O. and another one of his brothers, Martin Van Buren Bailey, left Gwinnett County and settled at Geraldine in DeKalb Co. AL about 1880. W. O., his wife Sally King, Martin, and his wife Stacy Adline Sizemore, are all buried at Mt, Pleasant Baptist Church near Geraldine AL. I'm nowhere close to having everything on the Baileys. I've got them traced back to when they came over from County Monaghan Ireland in 1768. I've mostly focused on my direct lines and haven't done too much with collateral lines (descendats of siblings of my ancestors, etc.) Where did you find the info that Nathaniel Bailey's wife was a Williams, dau. of William Williams? This is new info to me--I had no idea who Nathaniel's wife was, and none of the Bailey researchers I have corresponded with thus far had that information.
