I've been searching my Boisseau line and haven't found much on the Stell group. My ggrandmother was Lavinia Esquelina Stell(m.Thomas Holmes Boisseau of Dinwiddie Co.VA when she was 16 in Weldon, NC-1855). She was the daughter of Capt.Shadrack Stell (War 1812) and his second wife, Tabitha Coleman. Lavinia's father, Shadrack, died before her birth in 1839, and apparently her mother died shortly after. also 1839. Her guardian was Thomas' father. They apparently "skipped" to an aunts in Weldon, NC to marry, perhaps because they were 17 and 16? She inherited her father's Bear Swamp property and it's where my grandfather and many siblings were raised. I'm looking for any cousins or descendants of Shadrack and his first wife (Name?)..Don't think Tabitha had any other children. Happy to share what I have. Irene Schreiner, Cape May Point, NJ
