I have one of my own ggg...something aunts, Sarah Ann Stell, b. 1856 (your 1855 may be right) in Texas, d/o John William Stell, b. 1827 in Tennessee, and Mary Jane Parks, b. 1836 in Arkansas. I have no record of a spouse. I have not been able to find any of that family in the 1860 census, and it's driving me nuts! The family would consist of John William (possibly deceased before 1860) app 33, Mary Jane app 24, Josephine app. 6, Sarah Ann, app. 4, John William, app. 3, and maybe an infant Cyrus H. (b. 1860, so he may or may not have been counted), and perhaps an Elizabeth (Betsy) M., age unknown. By 1870 Elizabeth is not listed in the widow Mary Jane's household, so she may have died, or she may be the eldest, and already married and out of the house.

Sorry to have turned the topic of your thread!
