I guess i should have checked out this forum sooner .
George stell is not missing. The letters are correct as far as there being a george stell.. In 1717 through 1726 Robert Bolling made surveys of the farms in sections of virginia. On my website i have posted the locations of these farms and the head of the house. In 1719 my greatgrandmother 7 times removed lived on the head branches of bear swamp and white oak creek, Next to her lived James Grigg and next to him lived his brother William Grigg, on the other side of my grandmother lived George Stell. My grandfather was still a minor at this time and was not head of house. in 1758 my grandfather was head of house and lived next to Richard featherstone and Stells road. I had the map posted on my website but the server cut my file size and the maps will no longer load . You can see the surveys on this site http://stanscrib.50megs.com/
if you want a copy of the map my email is stanscrib@hotmail.com
or you can wait until i find another server that will let me load the maps of the va counties
