My Stell ancestors came from Todmorden, not far from Hebden Bridge, and some lived in Heptonstall, many were christened, married and buried in St. Paul's Heptonstall. We are probably related, but my GGgrandfather emigrated to U.S. in 1846. I do own all of the books containing church records of Heptonstall and Cross Stone in Todmorden, so if you would like a look-up, let me know.
