I am relatively certainStephen and Liddy (may be SARAH LETHA STINNETT) Lewis died during the Civil War leaving
Civil War orphans,
Thomas Jefferson Lewis, married- Columbia "Lum", died in TX
Mary Josephine, censused 1860 Jasper County MS
Sarah, censused 1860 Jasper County MS
HARRIET ELIZABETH (censused 1860 Jasper County MS
Lewis) Lindsey (my ancestor), married C. W. Lindsey in Hood County, TX
Charles Lewis, lost on the orphan's wagon train- died in Erath County, TX
Sedora Frances, md Dr. Bandy, died in Texas
Bigby, censused 1860 Jasper County MS
Littleton, censused 1860 Jasper County MS
Alice Jemima, married John Washington Steen, a Tittle, and a Littlefield; died in Texas
and Jane, censused 1860 Jasper County MS
This family was censused next door to William and Elizabeth Stinnett in 1860, Jasper County MS.
That is why I think Letha was their daughter.
