Hello, I purchased quite some time ago a Soldiers and Sailors prayer book. Very small and can fit into a small envelope. I paid 5.50 for it in hopes of returning it to the proper family where it belongs. Must prove ancestry. This will be sold on ebay should there be know one to come forward in the family line. Today is November 28th 2004. This will post on ebay January of 2005. Reads in front: To my dear friend Joseph Stepan, McKeesport, Pa. Oct. 12th, 1943. Under notes it list Bulova Watch with serial number. Identification in case of accident lists Mrs. Joseph J. Stephan 2416 Jenny Lind. Street, McKeesport - ALLEGH. Co. Pennsylvania. For the exact cost I paid and a self addressed stamped envelope sent to me I will ship this item to a family member. It is staning in the center pages as if he may have had in his chest pocket. The clear envelope has the price I paid for it in an antique shop. Thanks, no relationship, though I lived in Pa and have my roots there which may have been what drew me to this item. I know how much it means to find information on family members in tracing our roots. God Bless, Susan in Florida.
