looking for info on J. Albert Stephan

J. Albert Stephan was apparently a cabinet maker in Hamburg, Germany around 1912. I have a Lenzkirck grandfather clock in which there is a metal tag in the door labeled "J. Albert Stephan, Hamburg. This clock was custom built and dedicated to non-commisioned officers of the III. batailllon infantry, regiment Count Bose (1st Thuringian) Nr. 31 in 1912

Any source of information on Mr. Stephan or this clock would be greatly appreciated.
