This is getting to be a (nice) habit, cousin. In 1600s the family was primarily in the following four areas in England: S.W. counties of Devon ( Hound of the Baskerville country , arf!!) and Cornwall ; London; Buckinghamshire; and River Humber area. Both Josh and Abe were close to the Goode family in 1600s Virginia per various legal documents of that period . Goode family place in Henrico county called Whitby. A town of Whitby is in England on the Yorkshire coast , north of Humber. Interesting?? Our Joshua of Varina Parish , Henrico county fined twice, I believe , for swearing in public . Would love to know what priceless ancestral pronouncement was spoken. Doesn't sound like an Oxbridge man to me.
