David: There was a John David and Solomon Stepp (sons of Jack and Jane Dickens Stepp) that ended up in Angelina County Texas. They left Tennessee about 1838-1840. Maybe this is why they moved? My great great grandmother Eliza Tex Stepp was born in Angelina County in 1841. She married Frances Marion Manning in 1860. I have other info if anyone is interested. Thanks, Sharon
