I have been searching like mad to make the Stepp connection. I have come up with nothing but dead ends in regards to Walton/Walter W Stepp. However, it is purely speculation, but I am wondering if Walter/Walton is his actual name. The reson being, I have a census form listing Robert Lee Stepp as a stepson to James Bean in 1910 in Oklahoma. Then I have a 1920 census showing James and Cora moved to Idaho, but no listing for Robert. Along comes 1930 and a Robert S Stepp of the right age is listed in a 1930 Oklahoma census, listed as a nephew and living with Mary Annabelle Holland (Cora's sister) and husband William Walter Wheadon. Is it possible that nobody actually knows his real name? Possible theat the Walter listed on the deather certificate is his uncle?
I know its simply speculation, but I have searched high and low on, and Archives with no luck for this Stepp... trying to think outside the box here...
