Can someone tell me if they are connected to the following info that I recently stumbled onto via rootsweb.com :

May 6, 1843.
Father: Benjamin STARRETT
Marriage 1 John Newberry MCSPADDEN b: 1783 in Block House, Nashville, Davidson Co, TN
Married: ABT. 1816 in Fayette County, TN
Children

Thomas E. MCSPADDEN b: BET. 1810 - 1815
William Brown [Dr.] MCSPADDEN b: 1818 in Fayette Co, TN
*************
My gg-father William STERRETT married a MCSPADDEN. He was actually a SUMMERVILLE (changed his name to mother's maiden name of STERRETT to escape the law).
If your STERRETT's intertwine with McSPADDEN, SUMMERVILLE or have roots in VA, TN, GA, AL or AR they hook up somewhere I am sure.
Let me know if these names or places ring a bell.
Thanks,
