Joanna,
Have you seen the surname Knight anywhere
with your Stetson family?? John Knight was
from Connecticut and his widow, daughter,
son and his family were all living close to
the Stetsons (Erastus & family) on the 1850 (online), Macracken
Co., Ky. census. I thought they may have been
related or travelled together.
I've had a hard time tracing this Knight family
and hope for a connection!
