Searching for information on John Moses Steverson/Stepherson born in mid 1850's. Some records show he was born in Ms., some show in La., so I'm not sure which. He married Sallie GREER in Walker Co., TEXAS on 28 Oct 1875. Father's name is believed to have been John also. Believed to have had 2 sisters Robert Ann"Bobbie"and Louisiana"Lou", both also born in the mid 1850's. Bobbie married Harvey ALLEN Jr., and Lou married Peter George Washongton GREER. Both marriages were also in Walker co., Tx.. We use the spelling STEPHERSON, but have found his name spelled STEPHENSON/ STEVENSON/ STEVERSON. I have most of his descendants, but nothing before his marriage in 1875. Appreciate any help.
