Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Montville, Maine is in Waldo County. Surrounding other little Maine towns are Freedom, Liberty, Palermo. They are fairly close to Belfast and Rockport, more inland. Maine was part of Massachusetts, so families didn't have to move, the address just changed. There is also a portion of nothern Maine that was disputed territory with Canada. I have lots on Stewards and Stewarts in this area, but don't know how many different lines or common lines they represent.
