First is Leonard Steward in Union SC 1790 to 1850, His wife "Margaret Louise Steen" and children who moved to Alabama 1860's was the daughter of Gideon Steen. Children of Leonard and Margaret L. (Steen) Steward were: James Steward b. 1853 in Union SC/ John W. Steward b.1855 in Union SC/ Sara E. Steward b.1854 in Union SC/ Thomas Steward b.1858 in Union SC/ Mary L. Steward b. 1860 in Union SC/ William J. Steward b. 1867 in Union SC/.
One son of Leonard and Margaret L. (Steen) Steward was John W. Steward and Fannie Worthington, John and Fanny's (Worthington) Steward children were after marriage of course: Mary Steward b.1880/ John H. Steward b. 1881/ Morgan Eugene Steward b.1884/ Anner Steward b.1888/ Nessie Steward b.1890/ Edward Steward b.1892/Charlie Steward b.1894/ Barney Steward b.1895/Mabel Steward b.1899. This one son John W.
