The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Saturday, March 11, l876 The matrimonial market has been rather dull of late, with plenty offerings; young stock has been in fair demand at a small reduction on previous prices. The supply of old stock is large, and operators expect to carry over a large surplus; the supply of young graded and pure stock, is somewhat large, but there seems to be a disposition on the part of buyers to conform to the terms of the seller. The operations since Feb. 26th, are as follows: JACOB STEWARD (SEWARD?), aged 40 to ELLA C. BREMER, aged 24. ISAAC HUSEY, aged 45, to MARTHA ABGAR, aged 48. GEO. L. FLEMING, aged 25, to MARY C. BOYD, aged 19. OLIVER PLIMATE, aged 2l, to CLARINDA BELL, aged l8. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert February 1, 2004 http://www.rootsweb.com/~ialucas Notify Administrator about this message?
