It was James Joseph that first went to London. His father was James Steward born 1808, a tailor in Norwich. James father was Joseph Steward born 1770 who was married to Hannah Harrison. Joseph and Hannah's children were Joseph, James, Charles, James and Hannah.
One very strange thing I haven't figured out is that in 1887 James Josephs freedom of London papers indicated that his father was James Steward, clothier and outfitter, late of Smithfield, deceased so he perhaps had a business there or lived there for a time.
