Hello Christine,

Thank you for your reply. I have Samuel's will at the moment and have been translating it. I have one page to go. I think his father may have been Edward also, but I don't seem to be able to get the dates right. I also believe Elizabeth Weddell was his second wife, but I just cannot find Sarah' death anywhere. I have a copy of a marriage certificate I came across by chance with Samuel Redward's name on it. It was for a marriage of Thomas Weddell, maybe Elizabeth's son by her previous marriage. I know she was a widow when her and Samuel got married and him a widower as we know. I have a copy of Samuel and Elizabeth's marriage. If you would like a copy of it let me know and I will email it through to you. My line decends down through Samuel and Sarah's daughter Elizabeth who married John Miall son of Moses Miall of Portsea.

I am searching everywhere I can for any info on Sarah, but can't seem to get anything. I know she had two brothers. One which is Samuel's executor of his will, But, alas thats about the extent of it.

Have you been in touch with Kaylene Wood? I think you and her have the same line through James and Elizabeth Bulbeck. She decends down through therir son Thomas and he if I remember correctly went to New Zealand he had a twin sister Caroline.

Thank you again for replying to me and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Wishes,

Yvonne.
