Hi Yvonne

I haven't been able to find anything further about Sarah either so far. I have another Sarah Steward in my Redward tree as well which makes things even more complicated - she married Richard Fogwill in 1818 (in Portsmouth) and one of her descendents (Elizabeth Stuart Eaton) married my great grandfather (7th son of James and Elizabeth) who rejoiced in the name of Dinneford Septimus Mayell Redward. I have been in touch with one or two Redward descendants who went to New Zealand - one set decended from the eldest son (James Baldwin) and the others from Frederick. James and Elizabeth had 22 children in all, many of them twins, but not all survived.
I hope to be able to go to Portsmouth later this year - in the summer maybe - and will add Sarah to my list of searches in the archives.
All the best.
Chris Franses
