100 acres on North Fork of Oconee River in Jackson Co, GA, where the (Adair / Adair / Adear )family at that time intermarried with the McCord, Williams and Oak families.

Would any of the Stewart / Steward and/or Adare / Adair families of Jackson Co GA have been from Rowan or Surrey Co NC ?
Joseph Harrison of early Rowan County m.1762 Ann Bowles,
bondsmen were David Stewart and Samuel Stewart.
Nathaniel Harrison m. 1797 Surry, NC to Jemima Stewart.
Jemima had a brother Samuel Stewart who was bc.1765.

1773, Josiah Steward(t), Samuel Steward(t), David Steward(t), Joseph Harrison and others to lay out a road from Joseph Gentryís Ferry on the South side of River
to Fox Knobbs leading to Allenís Iron Works and on North side to Salem etc.
Joseph Harrison lived near Jacob Lash and adjoining David Stewart....
