William Steward- Lincoln Co. Tenn land grant 1818.

I have the information posted in a lengthy response on the STEWART surname on GENFORUM for Oct 29, 2006. William Steward b. ca.1785 md. Margaret(Peggy)____? b. 1789 in Va. Moved to Mississippi around 1823, and he died either in Miss or possibly Mobile Co. Al.between 1825-1830. Margaret moves the family back to near Mimosa, Lincoln Co. Tenn by 1830, and later before 1850 to near Gibsonville, Giles Co. Tenn. Please email me if this family is of interest to you.
