Hi Wanda,

I just read your posting. My Stigler family, too came from Germany, Bavaria, I think. Do you know where Wiesenacker or Lengfeld, Germany is??? My ancestor was JOHAN MICHAEL STIGLER (STIEGLER), who was b. in 1814, and came to port of NY in July, 1850 with his fiancee, MARIA ANNA OSTERMANN. They came to Milwaukee, WI and were married there immediately in St. Mary's Catholic Church. I am desperately trying to find his parentage and siblings.

Mary E. Stigler
