I am descended through Sam's son Benjamin. His son Samuel Stigler went to Clay County, Indiana. The Samuel you mention is on the DAR list as a Patriot, he donated meat to the Revolution and his brothers were in the war, I believe. Anyway, what I need is proof that Samuel was Benjamins Son. Benjamin must have been a reprobate because he is listed as indigent in a census. His father in law, he married Rachel Mcghee, not sure of spelling mentioned him by name in his will and said he was not to get a dime of his estate. Anyway will be glad to share the information with anyone interested.
Sue
