I have Jesse Stillwell marrying 1 Nov 1873, Madison Co, AL, Jane Hill. In 1880 census, Jesse is in Beat 16, Madison Co, AL, farmer. Shows wife as Nancy (Nancy Jane perhaps?) (b ca 1859, TN) and a child of Minnie L, (b ca 1875, AL - 15 Jun 1952, Huntsville, Madison Co, AL) Do not know if she married or not. Jesse is living next door to his parents Asa and Adeline.

I have a marriage date of 3 Jan 1880 for Jesse and Mary Cleveland. That does not make sense with the 1880 census above. Probably a typo of the year somewhere along the line.

I could not find Jesse in the 1900 census.

In 1910 census, Jesse and Mary are in Dallas Pct 20, Madison Co, AL, laborer at cotton mill. It indicates they had been married 28 yrs; indicating a marriage year of 1881/1882. She had 7 ch, 3 living. Shows ch of Janie, b ca 1885; Elmer, b ca 1890; and Lora, b ca 1887, married to Joe ??. Only have part of Joe's last name __agsdale. Probably Ragsdale. b ca 1885, TN.
