Raymond

That would be me. Are we cousins? My grandmother was Jennie. I just got a copy of her death certificate from NYC.

Being very new to genealogy research (not quite 2 months yet) I am trying to figure out how to separate the many "facts" that are reported on Census, web sites and forums. How people dance around the ages, birth locations etc. In my mind it's only speculation until you have some sort of official document confirming what was reported.

Do you have any tips, hints or magic wands that will help me in this search?

Arlene
