I never followed through on researching Catherine's ancestral line since I am not a direct line descendant of her. The only informaton I have on her came from Doctor John Edwin Stillwell's work entitled "The History of Captain Nicholas Stillwell Son of Lieutenant Nicholas Stillwell and His Descendants". On page 105, her father is identified as Wilhelmus Bennett.

The available records that I have come across has George being born in 1810 and Catherine and Thomas marrying in 1811. I do believe the discrepancy originates with the surviving family members at the time of George's death. He was supposedly 90 years 10 months old at the time of his death. Using that information and the date of death from his death certificate, his date of birth falls into 1810.
