I know what you mean. I read that there was some literary fraud back in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I found a few mistakes from old books relating to my other ancestors too. I made a family history book and put in all information, then when I find out what isn't true I write that as well. It's important to have all sources together untrue and true, so that there can be a comparison and corrections made such as what we have done here on this board. Thank you.
