We found a reference last week in a book on google books entitled "Sayre Family: Lineage of Thomas Sayre, A founder of Southampton" by Theodore Melvin Banta published in 1901 by The De Vinne Press He states that "John Sayre, Born in Elizabeth N.J. Married First Esther, Daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Stilwell" (P. 78) He goes on to state "His mother-in-law, Elizabeth Stilwell, of Jamaica, L.I., in her will, Dated Sept. 11, 1735, appointed him executor and left 6 silver spoons to his daughter Elizabeth".
I beleive she has other references but I will have to check with her on that. She is pretty good about not putting names into her work without documentation.

Thanks you very much for the discs. I realize it represents a great deal of work and I greatly appreciate it.

Blessings
Dale
