Here is some info that might help in your search. It is given as a starting point. I have a marriage date of 1 Jan 1736, Cape May, NJ., for a Nicholas Stillwell and a Sarah Hand. It is not, of course, primary evidence of the marriage in question.

1748 bought land from Joseph Golden. Left land to son, Nicholas.
1750 of Egg Harbor took out license to keep a house of entertainment
1762 Dec 8 - Commissioned as Judge of the Common Pleas
1767 Aug 22 - appointed a J.P.
1768 Apr xx - appt'd commissioner for taking recognizance of bail
1769 Mar 22, bought 1,250 acres from William Griscum. Land located
between Great Egg Harbor and Middle River. Son David later
sold the land Nov 7, 1780.
1768 Apr 30 - Judge O & T, Cape May Co, NJ
1769-1771 - member of the Assembly.
1773 Jul - 1774 Jul - NJ Ratables, Sarah, widow of Nicholas
Cape May, Upper Precinct.
