One of my sources, "The Stilwells of Southern Indiana" states, "Solomon (1832-1916) is listed in the household of his father in the 1850 census. In the 1860 census, he is recorded in Patoka Township as a farmer with his wife Mary and three small children. His property/personal value was listed as $535/$200.He served in the Civil War in Co. F 4 Ind. Cavalry and is buried in the Stilwell Cemetery near Velpen in Pike County." (p.4)
